Temporary staffing hours worked in the US fell 10% year over year in the week ended Sept. 23, but they were up 4.2% compared to the prior week for an indexed value of 96, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report.

“The industry continues to gradually descend from the pandemic era highs. This dynamic implies increased competitive pressures but continuing and large opportunities for those staffing firms that have developed a competitive advantage,” according to the report.
