US temp staffing hours rose 2.8% in the week ended Jan. 20 compared to the previous week, but they were down 17% year over year, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report.

Temporary staffing hours worked during the week ended Jan. 20 regained nearly 40% of the drop observed between the week ending Dec. 16, 2023, and the week ending Jan. 6.
