Talks over a possible acquisition of global staffing firm Impellam Group plc are at an “advanced stage,” but there’s still no “firm intention to make an offer,” Impellam reported in a regulatory filing on Nov. 8.

The UK-based global staffing firm is discussing a possible sale to HeadFirst Global bv. Talks began this summer with several deadlines set for a possible offer. The most recent deadline has been rescheduled for Nov. 29.

There is no guarantee at this time that HeadFirst will make an offer to buy Impellam.

Impellam ranks as the 21st-largest global staffing firm, according to SIA’s Largest Staffing Firms Globally 2023 report released Sept. 20.
