A legal challenge to the Affordable Care Act brought by Republican-led states was dismissed today by the US Supreme Court, CNN reported. In a 7-2 decision, the top court ruled the challengers did not have the legal right to bring the suit. The ruling did not cover the merits of the lawsuit, although it allows the Affordable Care Act to remain in place.
