Temporary staffing hours worked in the US rose 8.6% in the week ended Dec. 9 compared to the previous week, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. However, they were still down 10% year over year.

The latest data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics along with the Indicator suggest continued weakness in staffing despite strength in the overall economy.
