Staffing 100 now online; Executive Forum conference to open

February 13, 2017

Staffing Industry Analysts presents this year’s list of the 100 most influential people in the US staffing industry as the annual Executive Forum opens today in San Diego.

New this year is the “Hall of Fame,” which comprises people who have appeared on the Staffing 100 list for five years. There are 29 people in the hall of fame.

The Staffing 100 represents a selection of the movers and shakers in the $145 billion industry who are breaking records, creating new models of work, placing people in jobs and helping the world move forward.

This year’s list, sponsored by erecruit, is not a ranking, and it's available online. The Staffing 100 is listed in alphabetical order, and all those on the list were nominated by you and the workforce solutions ecosystem.

The announcement of the Staffing 100 marks the opening today of the Staffing Industry Executive Forum with more than 1,100 attendees at the Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel in San Diego. The theme this year is “Dare to Lead.”

The Executive Forum will feature a panel on leadership Tuesday with insights from leaders of some of the largest firms in the staffing industry — Peter Dameris, CEO of On Assignment; Chad Lane, president of Allegis Global Solutions; Jonas Prising, chairman and CEO of ManpowerGroup; and Susan Salka, CEO, president and director of AMN Healthcare. All four panelists are on the Staffing 100 or the Hall of Fame.

Keynote speakers at the conference include:

  • Doris Kearns Good, presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, who on Wednesday will share insights, stories and in-depth analysis of the US presidency, which she has studied for four decades.
