Spark Hire, a Northbrook, Illinois-based video interview platform, acquired Chally, a talent assessment platform based in Dayton, Ohio.  

“The acquisition of Chally is a major milestone for Spark Hire,” Josh Tolan, CEO of Spark Hire, said in a press statement. “It will help us expand our suite of innovative and trusted candidate assessment tools and deepen our commitment to providing the best and most effective interviewing experience in the industry.”  

Founded in 1973, Chally provides assessment reports of potential hires to organizations, including those in the Fortune 500.  

The deal follows Spark Hire’s merger earlier this year with Comeet, a provider of applicant tracking software based in New York. 

Spark Hire was founded in 2010. 

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
