Staffing firm Solomon Page announced today it acquire executive search firm E.A. Hughes & Co., which specializes in the fashion, retail and beauty markets.

Elaine Hughes, who founded E.A. Hughes & Co. in 1991 will continue to lead her team of eight, according to a report in WWD. Terms of the deal were not announced, according to the report.

E.A. Hughes will become part of the fashion and beauty division of Solomon Page, which is led by Sue Lamoreaux and Patty Hoban Scott.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to partner with Elaine and her team,” Lamoreaux said in a press release. “She has influenced the careers of many senior executives in retail and fashion and advocated for women in the industry by example and involvement in many organizations during the past three decades.”

Solomon Page also announced it recently added Lisa Berger to its team to lead its expansion in the beauty segment.
