SnapNurse names veteran tech executive as CEO

January 20, 2023

Healthcare staffing platform SnapNurse Inc. named Jeff Grant as CEO effective Feb. 2. Grant succeeds Jeff Richards, co-founder, and interim CEO, who will remain with the company as COO and a board member.

“We are excited to welcome Jeff Grant to SnapNurse. His deep experience in building and growing two-sided, tech-enabled marketplaces makes him an ideal leader to build on SnapNurse’s record of growth,” said Francis Najafi, board chairman at SnapNurse.

A 22-year consumer technology veteran, Grant most recently served as COO at Thumbtack, an online marketplace connecting customers with local businesses. Prior to Thumbtack, Grant held leadership roles at DriversEd, InsuranceQuotes, LeapFrog and Orbitz.

“I am thrilled to lead SnapNurse at such an exciting inflection point,” Grant said. “This is truly a transformational time for the company, and I look forward to embarking on this journey. I want to thank the Board and Jeff Richards for giving me this opportunity and supporting my transition.”

Atlanta-based SnapNurse was founded in 2017 and has deployed more than 20,000 clinicians to 1,000 healthcare facilities across the nation.
