Sharp Decisions acquires Denver and Phoenix staffing operations

March 04, 2016

Sharp Decisions Inc., a technology consulting firm headquartered in New York City, acquired the Denver and Phoenix offices of staffing firm CN-TEC in an asset purchase transaction.

The deal closed Feb. 29. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

CN-TEC will be rebranded and operate under the Sharp Decisions banner. Steve Byas and Molly Gravatt, founders of CN-TEC, have joined the Sharp Decisions executive leadership team and will have primary responsibility for the leadership of the Arizona and Colorado offices, respectively.

The acquisition provides Sharp Decisions a footprint in the Mountain West region with operating centers in Denver and Phoenix. Post transaction, the company’s headcount now approximates 500 and serves clients nationwide. The acquisition also advances Sharp Decisions’ growth strategy and expands its presence in the strategic business and technology consulting solutions marketplace.

“With this acquisition, Sharp Decisions is now one of the most experienced and far-reaching technology consulting services firms in the United States,” said Sharp Decisions President and CEO Karen Ross. “We are thrilled to add both Steve and Molly to our leadership team and to have established an enhanced and expanded platform for the marketing, sales and implementation of both our traditional staffing services and our V.E.T.S. Program offerings.”
