Sense, engagement platform, announces $50 million funding round

December 06, 2021

Sense, an AI-powered platform for talent engagement and communication, today announced a $50 million Series D funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The round brings total funding at Sense to $90 million. TechCrunch reported the deal values Sense at $500 million.

The company had announced a Series C funding round of $16 million in June. It has more than 600 customers, including staffing firms. Its products include a platform to text candidates, an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot and a product for automating employee referrals.

Funding will go toward the continued ramp up of Sense’s go-to-market strategy and increasing awareness of the company. It will also invest in international expansion with a focus on regions such as Western Europe.

Sense also announced it will open an office in Bengaluru, India, in the first quarter of next year.

The company is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2015.
