Search Wizards Inc., a staffing firm that places recruiters at corporations, transferred ownership to COO Miranda Hinshaw from its founder Leslie O'Connor, effective April 8.

O’Connor founded the Sarasota, Fla.-based firm in 2000.

Hinshaw joined Search Wizards in 2006 and has held multiple roles. She will now assume the CEO role and oversee day-to-day operations. 

Financial terms were not disclosed. O'Connor will remain in an advisory role through April 2021. Search Wizards will retain its brand and expects no change in its service offerings.

Search Wizards has an internal team of 13 and employs more than 200 full-time consultants.
