Aerotek, a division of Allegis Group, ranks as the largest global supplier of engineering staffing in terms of engineering temporary staffing revenue, according to a new report released by Staffing Industry Analysts. Adecco ranks as second largest and Morson Group as third.
The list of largest engineering staffing firms includes companies with at least $150 million in global engineering temporary staffing revenue in 2016. It includes 20 firms, which combined generated $9.9 billion in such revenue.
The global engineering staffing market is relatively consolidated; the 20 firms account for 35% market share while the top three firms account for 12% of market revenue.

There were two firms ranked No. 4 because of similar levels of revenue.
“We project revenue in the global engineering segment to grow in both 2017 and in 2018, following a decline in 2016,” said Matt Norton, senior research analyst at SIA and author of the report. “Oil prices have increased and stabilized this year, providing a headwind to the sector. However, there will be many variations by region and by occupation.”
