Staffing Industry Analysts today released its annual list of fastest-growing US staffing firms, which includes 110 firms with at least  compound annual growth in revenue from 2012 through 2016 of at least 15%.

Hayes Locums topped the list with CAGR at 147.2%.

Here are the top 10 fastest-growing staffing firms for 2017:

The median CAGR was 83.5% for the top 10 firms on the list; it was 28.2% for the full list, down from 30.3% last year.

Eight of the top 10 staffing firms provide healthcare staffing as a top segment. Healthcare also replaced IT as the top segment in the list as a whole: 35% of the firms provide healthcare staffing compared to 33% that provide IT staffing.

To qualify for the list, staffing firms had to post at least $1 million in revenue in 2012 and have compound annual revenue growth of at least 15% between 2012 and 2016. All numbers are self-reported. However, the top 10 fastest-growing firms had to provide additional information. Only organic revenue growth was considered, and revenue was adjusted to remove growth from acquisitions. The list is based on staffing revenue, which included temporary staffing revenue, direct hire, retained search and temp-to-perm conversion fees.
