Worldwide ERC, a trade association for those involved in employee relocation, announced this week it is joining the “Safely Back to Work” initiative announced last month by The Adecco Group, ManpowerGroup and Randstad nv.

“Our industry was rapidly transforming before the pandemic hit, and while a significant pause on movement has temporarily disrupted the flow of talent around the world, now is the time  to define best practices in the ‘new normal,’ so businesses can begin the critical process of recovery,” said Lynn Shotwell, president and CEO of Worldwide ERC.

Adecco, ManpowerGroup and Randstad announced the initiative last month. It aims to share best practices on health and safety protocols, which will need to be either set up or updated for the temporary “physical distancing economy.”

The three invited other groups — including employers, trade unions and nongovernmental organizations — to join with them in the initiative.
