Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest staffing firms, appointed Junichi Arai as corporate professional officer of investor relations, effective Nov. 1.

The appointment was made at today’s board meeting. According to Recruit, the appointment aims to strengthen the communication between the company and its stockholders and investors, in preparation for an increase in the pace of the company’s global expansion.

Arai in 2011 was a founding partner of Nakamura Arai Partners. He has also served as managing director and head of the strategic advisory group at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities) and head of Tokyo M&A advisory group at Morgan Stanley Securities (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities).
