Recruit Global Staffing CFO steps down, management team adds new execs

Recruit Global Staffing, which encompasses the worldwide staffing operations of Tokyo-based Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd., announced Tuesday that CFO Leen Geirnaerdt will step down. It also announced other management changes that will bring its executive management team to five members, effective April 1.

Recruit Holdings is one of the world’s largest staffing firms and has staffing operations in the US, Europe and Australia as well as Japan. Recruit Global Staffing is headquartered in the Dutch city of Almere. Its global brands include: Staffmark Holdings, Advantage Resourcing, Chandler Macleod, Peoplebank, Recruit Staffing, Secretary Plus, Staff Service, Start People, The CSI Companies, Unique, USG People and USG Professionals.

Geirnaerdt was appointed as CFO in 2010 and has worked for the company for 17 years. She was instrumental in transitioning recruitment firm USG People to a Recruit Group company after Recruit acquired the Dutch firm in 2015.

Recruit Global Staffing CEO Rob Zandbergen will take on Geirnaerdt’s management duties.

In addition, the company announced CIO Michael Withmer will be appointed as an executive management member in addition to serving as CIO.

Recruit Global Staffing also named Han Oey as its new chief strategy officer; Oey is currently global director of business development and strategy at Recruit Global Staffing.

Jun Onimaru will take on the role of chief of staff. Onimaru presently serves as CFO at The CSI Companies, part of Recruit Global Staffing.

Graeme Maude will remain in his position as chief operating officer.

Recruit Global had revenue of $11.7 billion in 2017.
