December 21, 2017

Ausy, a French consulting and engineering firm and subsidiary of the Randstad Group, acquired eSolve, a Germany-based provider of IT management services, consulting and support for the development of IT infrastructures and applications.

Made through Ausy’s wholly-owned German subsidiary Pentasys, the acquisition aims to strengthen Ausy’s presence and expertise in the German automotive industry, according to Randstad.

Randstad France gained control of Paris-based Ausy in January. Ausy has operations in 10 countries, including the US where it began operations in 2013 to serve Airbus in Mobile, Ala. In 2016, Ausy reported revenue of €460.5 million (US$485.16 million) and employed more than 5,000 personnel at more than 50 locations in Europe, the US and Asia.

Founded in 2000, eSolve is headquartered in Munich and employs 130 people. It generated revenue of approximately €18 million (US$21.3 million) this year.

The acquisition is in-line with Ausy’s growth strategy in Europe, according to François Béharel, CEO of Randstad Group France.

“In Germany, eSolve has a recognized technological expertise in consulting, design and implementation of secure and high-performance IT infrastructures,” Béharel said. “With a strong presence in the automotive industry, eSolve enables Ausy to strengthen its presence in a sector that stands out for its dynamism and strong growth prospects. I am delighted to welcome the employees of eSolve to the Randstad Group. Together, we reaffirm our common ambition to become the leading IT partner of the automotive industry across Europe.”
