Randstad lists hot jobs for 2017

Validation engineer, accountant and full stack developer rank among the hot jobs for 2017, Randstad reported. The staffing provider compiled a list of hot jobs for 2017 based on data collected from its team of recruiters in combination with research from a variety of current workforce trends, including number of qualified candidates and available positions, market growth, salary range and employer need for specific skillsets.

Randstad anticipates the following roles to be the three hottest jobs by segment in 2017.

  • Engineering: Validation Engineer, construction project manager and controls engineer.
  • Finance and accounting: Accountant (staff, junior, senior); analyst (financial, business, junior, senior); and manager (accounting, finance, project).
  • Nonclinical healthcare: Administrative assistant, receptionist and executive assistant.
  • Human resources: HR generalist/business partner, HR manager/director, and comp and benefits manager.
  • Information technology: Full stack developer; security engineer; and big data engineer.
  • Life sciences: Medical writer, clinical study manager and drug safety associate.
  • Office and administration: Customer service rep, administrative assistant and receptionist.
  • Manufacturing and logistics: Direct hire, production supervisor, driver and warehouse supervisor.

The research also recognized loader/unloader, assembler and general production worker as the hot jobs for temp workers in manufacturing and logistics.
