Peoplenet acquires technology startup Fyre

March 15, 2017

Peoplenet, an Atlanta-based timekeeping software firm, acquired staffing technology start-up firm Fyre.

The transaction closed March 10; terms were not disclosed.

Fyre’s technology connects staffing software platforms directly with vendor management systems, applicant tracking systems and job boards. The Orlando, Fla.-based firm was founded in 2013 by Tim Arnold and a group of private investors.

According to Peoplenet, the product will remain branded as Fyre Sync and Fyre Sidebar, but the company will become a part of Peoplenet. The entire company and its executives will remain intact. Titles will change due to them becoming part of Peoplenet, but their roles in building and selling products into the market will not change.

The addition of Fyre to Peoplenet’s suite of solutions enables customers to move data across the full staffing ecosystem.

“As our ecosystem grows increasingly complex, the need for tools that connect staffing companies, technologies and buyers is greater than ever,” said Peoplenet CEO Ed Holmes. “We are now able to provide our customers with the ability to further increase efficiency, speed and accuracy in both the front and back office.”

The collective organization will now have two office with more than 80 employees.
