Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include announcements from Whitridge, Impellam, Tower Legal Solutions, CTPartners, Aquent, TriWorth, Kincannon and Reed, Arrow Strategies and Addison Group.

Whitridge Associates Inc. promoted Chief Operating Officer John Hennessy to corporate vice president. In addition to his current duties, Hennessy’s new responsibilities include long-term strategy development, resource planning and secondary oversight of the company. Hennessy joined Whitridge in 2012. He previously spent 22 years with TAC Worldwide, most recently as SVP of delivery operations. He also was SVP of the staffing vertical at Monster Worldwide. Boston-based Whitridge Associates provides staffing to technology companies, financial services, defense contractors and healthcare providers.

U.K-based Impellam Group plc announced Lincoln Jopp will step down from the firm’s board of directors at its annual general meeting June 18 in order to concentrate on his main board position at Tungsten Corporation Plc. Impellam ranks No. 49 among the largest providers of staffing in the U.S.

CTPartners Executive Search Inc. (NYSE MKT: CTP) announced Andrew Duncan joined the firm’s London office as co-managing partner in the U.K. private equity practice. He will co-lead the practice with Managing Partner Guy Barnes. Duncan has more than 25 years’ experience in the consumer and telecommunications sectors and has held several leadership and executive positions in private and public companies sectors. New York-based CTPartners ranks No. 7 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest U.S. retained search firms.

Aquent co-founder and CEO John Chuang was appointed board chair at Angie’s List. Chuang has served on Angie’s List’s board of directors since April 1996 and will assume the board chair role following the retirement of Keith J. Krach on May 13. Aquent is a staffing firm for creative and marketing professionals.

TriWorth, a Denver-based recruitment process outsourcing firm, announced Joni Mendyk joined the company as executive vice president of business development. Mendyk has more than 17 years’ experience in HR and the RPO industry.

Kincannon and Reed, a search firm specializing in the food, agribusiness and life sciences sectors, announced Ed Yuhas joined the firm as managing director. Yuhas most recently was with Mars Petcare/Buckeye Nutrition.

Arrow Strategies, a Bingham Farms Mich.-based staffing firm, hired Russell Beaupre as the Chicago branch managing director. Beaupre will lead the sales, delivery and operations functions. Beaupre has more than 17 years of consulting and staffing industry experience. Arrow Strategies provides information technology, engineering, healthcare and professional services staffing.

Chicago-based professional staffing firm Addison Group announced Kelly Gorham, president of Addison Group’s Healthcare division, has expanded the healthcare practice to the Boston area, with the office slated to launch early this summer. Paul Passaro will lead this team in the Boston office.

Tower Legal Solutions, whose services include legal staffing, hired L. Kathleen “Kathy” Harrell-Latham, as managing director for its new office in Minneapolis. Harrell-Latham, an attorney, previously worked for Minnesota law firm Larkin Hoffman Daley & Lindgren.
