People: The Intersect Group, McCann Partners, Solomon Page, Russell Reynolds, August Leadership, ZRG, AtWork

The Intersect Group, an Atlanta-based staffing firm, appointed Edwin Miller as CEO. Miller previously served as president, CEO and director of Astreya Partners Inc., a global IT services company based in Silicon Valley. Miller is also the founder of 9Lenses, a provider of business intelligence SaaS and an automation platform for business assessment and analytics.

IT recruitment firm McCann Partners named Jane Hamner as chief growth officer. Hamner has been an IT staffing professional for more than 30 years. Hamner most recently served as VP of national sales at Harvey Nash. McCann Partners is based in Chicago.

Solomon Page, a New York-based staffing provider, hired Jennifer Atlan as director of recruiting to expand the presence of the company’s legal services division in Washington DC. Atlan is a licensed attorney with more than six years of experience in the staffing industry. In addition, Ron Schein has rejoined Solomon Page’s legal services division to grow its partner-to-partner business nationally. Schein spent nine years at Solomon Page earlier in his career.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates named Pascal Bécotte to lead its operations in Canada. Bécotte has more than 18 years of experience in executive search.

August Leadership, a New York-based executive search firm, named Charles Wardell III as vice chairman. Wardell had most recently served as CEO and chairman at Witt/Kieffer. Wardell’s background includes serving as deputy special assistant to Presidents Nixon and Ford; the latter appointed him as a deputy assistant secretary of state working in Henry Kissinger’s State Department.

Executive search firm ZRG Partners hired Pete Metzger as senior advisor and managing director. In addition to experience leading executive search firms, Metzger served as a US Marine officer, including as the Marine military aide to the president, and also served in the CIA. In addition, ZRG announced it hired three other new managing directors: Shelly Scott, Brian Kelley and Chuck Nees.

Leading AtWork’s new East Houston branch in Texas will be Peter and Melissa Dancy. The branch will provide staffing in industrial, healthcare and hospitality.
