People: The Delta Companies, MW Partners, ALKU, Staffing 360, Uber

The Delta Companies, one of the largest providers of healthcare staffing in the US, promoted DeLibra Wesley to the newly created position of executive VP of operations. Wesley most recently was the firm’s VP of risk management for almost four years.

MW Partners, a professional staffing resources company headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., promoted Keith Lippert to VP of sales operations from senior director of sales operations. Lippert joined MW Partners in May 2016 and works with clients nationally to provide talent for permanent, contract and contract-to-hire roles.

Staffing firm ALKU promoted Andrew Bull to VP, responsible for business development and financial performance of both its quality and government solutions business lines. ALKU’s first intern, Bull joined the firm full-time in June 2011 and most recently was director of ALKU quality.

Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (NASD: STAF), a staffing provider operating in the US and UK, announced Director Brad Schapiro will lead the light industrial division of its new office in Fort Mill, NC, opened by its Monroe Staffing Solutions subsidiary. Director Matt Gorman will lead the branch’s large account team and VP Steve Thompson will lead its professional services team.

San Francisco-based Uber Technologies Inc.’s Jambu Palaniappan, chief of UberEats for Europe, Middle East and Africa for the past 18 months, is leaving the human cloud, ride-sharing firm in January to join a venture capital firm. Palaniappan joined Uber five years ago in San Francisco.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) appointed Carlos Garcia to lead its supply chain and operations practice globally, adding to his leadership role as partner in charge of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Garcia has 30 years of experience in the sector, including leading international search engagements for global supply chain leaders the US, Europe and Latin America.

Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson announced Susannah Crabtree joined as a partner and head of its Ottawa office. She is also a member of Odgers’ leadership practice, helping clients assess and develop their leadership teams, succession plans and high-potential talent. Crabtree most recently was the Ottawa office leader at Mercer Canada; before Mercer, she held various senior roles with Aon Hewitt in Toronto and the UK.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Jason Waterman rejoined the firm as senior client partner in the global financial officer practice. Although his career in executive search started with Korn Ferry in 2000, Waterman most recently was a partner and a member of the financial officers practice at a global executive search firm, where he specialized in industrial, consumer and technology markets. He will be based in the Korn Ferry’s Minneapolis office.
