People: QPS, Peak Health Solutions, Cornerstone, Heidrick, Career Partners International and more

QPS Employment Group, a Wisconsin-based staffing firm, promoted Jeri Meyers to executive VP of sales. Meyers joined QPS in 1996 as a sales representative and eventually created a division focused on professional-level direct hires. She was promoted to regional VP and then senior regional VP before being named to her current role as part of QPS’ long-term succession plans. She will report to President and Chief Sales Officer Mark Immekus.

Peak Health Solutions, a health information management services company acquired by AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS) in 2016, named Brad Hill as president. Hill most recently served as the chief revenue officer at RemitDATA, a healthcare technology company; before that, Hill was VP of Payer Solutions for Passport Health Communications/Experian Health, a data management company. He also worked in executive leadership roles at Parity Inc., HMS Inc. and AIM Healthcare Inc.

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions announced Drew Meisenheimer joined the national staffing and recruiting firm in November as national director of sales, accountable for the performance of the sales and marketing teams. Meisenheimer most recently was director at TrueBlue Inc.’s (NYSE: TBI) Staff Management|SMX company in Memphis, where he focused on on-site contingent labor programs; prior to that, he was regional VP for Adecco Services. He began his staffing career with Kelly Services (NASD: KELYA) as a business development representative.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) appointed Adam Warby as an independent board member effective Jan. 1, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Warby will stand for election at the company’s 2018 annual meeting. Warby has been CEO of Avanade Inc., a global provider of professional services for Microsoft digital, cloud and business solutions since 2008. He joined Avanade from Microsoft Corp. as a member of the founding executive team of this joint venture created by Accenture LLP and Microsoft in April 2000.

Outplacement provider Career Partners International announced Peter Movesian joined the company as senior VP executive search to lead its newly formed executive search practice division. Movesian has more than two decades of experience as an HR executive from a variety of companies and most recently was global director of talent acquisition for media advertising agency Omnicom Media Group. The company also appointed Michael Valentine as a managing consultant to help accelerate growth in its talent consulting and executive coaching practices. Valentine’s prior roles include VP HR for a China startup, manufacturing operations lead for Nabisco Brands, COO for PCF Publisher Fulfillment Inc., HR division director at Allied Signal, and VP HR at The New York Times. Yana Blackwelder, a leader in international executive coaching and woman’s leadership programs, also joined the firm as managing consultant to its executive coaching practice. She will lead several initiatives including intercultural coaching, women’s leadership programs, coach training and firm visibility. Debbie Jackson joined the firm as VP of business development to help accelerate growth in the talent consulting, executive coaching and career transition practices; she most recently held senior-level positions at Kinder Care Education, The Ayers Group, Right Management and Manchester Partners.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) added Brad Berke as vice chairman, global supply chain officers in the supply chain center of expertise. Berke will be based in the firm’s Chicago office. Berke most recently was global managing partner of the supply chain and operations officers practice at a global recruiting firm. Earlier in his career, he was executive VP and equity partner with a generalist boutique search firm; he began his career with A.T. Kearney as a partner in the search firm’s consumer, industrial and operations and supply chain management practices.

Pennsylvania-based Diversified Staffing Group, a regional provider of technology, accounting/finance and executive search services, appointed Alexa Scalzi as senior VP. Scalzi previously was VP of client development with a focus on Fortune 100 strategic accounts. 

JW Michaels & Co., an executive search firm headquartered in New York, hired Jodi Wechsler to help grow the accounting/finance practice within the company’s New York office. Prior to joining the firm, Wechsler founded an accounting/finance asset management recruiting practice. Wechsler began her professional career in public accounting and transitioned into recruiting for alternative assets in 1998.
