Modis, an IT and engineering staffing and solutions division of The Adecco Group, added Pete Broding as head of managed services and solutions. Stephen Kovach also joined Modis as head of new business development, newly created position. Broding has more than 20 years of experience in technology staffing solutions and Kovach has more than 15 years of IT staffing experience. Both appointments took effect this month.

Airswift, a staffing provider for the energy, process and infrastructure sectors, promoted Kati Greenall into the new position of VP strategic accounts to focus on providing a higher level of international service to clients. Jason Goodall has been appointed strategic accounts director, bringing knowledge of operating support in remote locations. Troy Trevino joined Airswift as field operations manager, responsible for client relationships and expanding Airswift’s presence across all US oil plays. And Albert Kahlow was appointed regional director for Canada to oversee Airswift’s growth and development across that market.

BlueCrew, a mobile-focused, online staffing firm, appointed executive Adam Roston as CEO; he most recently was CEO of IAC Publishing, a former segment of IAC that housed IAC's digital media properties. BlueCrew founder Gino Rooney will resume his prior role as CTO overseeing all product and technology for the company. BlueCrew — which Staffing Industry Analysts classifies as a “just-in-time” online staffing firm — plans for its platform to be live across 30 markets nationwide this year. 

Triple Crown Consulting, a technology recruitment firm, placed five women in new leadership roles at the company. Vanessa Hernandez was named director of operations; she joined the company in 2007 as an account manager. Monica Jackson was promoted to regional VP; she joined Triple Crown in 2012 and will now oversee the offices in San Jose and Costa Mesa, Calif. Sarah Milliken was promoted to director of finance and accounting; she joined Triple Crown in 2016 and previously was the company’s controller. Jenn Casinader is now director of human resources; she has been with the company for two years and started the HR department. And Heather Walker joined Triple Crown as general counsel in February.

Sterling, a background screening and HR solutions company, appointed Josh Peirez to CEO, effective April 1. Peirez joined the company and its board in July 2018 and has been serving as co-CEO with founder William Greenblatt; Greenblatt will continue his role as chairman of the board.

Boston-based Beacon Hill Staffing Group announced Business Development Manager Christopher Sauls is leading its new Beacon Hill Pharma office, which opened in Raleigh-Durham, NC. Beacon Hill Pharma is the firm’s clinical research/life sciences specialty division. Sauls has 20 years of experience in the staffing industry.

StaffBot, a human capital management firm, added Ryan Zaucha as director of innovation. He has been in the healthcare staffing industry for nearly a decade, most recently as director of recruitment for SVS Group, the parent company of TotalMed, TotalMSP and AWI Technologies.
