People: Lucas Group, Ratliff & Taylor, Protiviti and more

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, hired Ana Hey-Colón for the newly created role of director of sales and training. She will coordinate and direct Lucas Group’s sales leadership and recruiter training programs. Hey-Colón most recently was senior sales training manager for Abbott Nutrition.

Ratliff & Taylor, the Cleveland firm of outplacement provider Career Partners International, named Beth Sweeney as its new president. Sweeney has served as market president at Ratliff & Taylor since 2014, responsible for sales, marketing, new product development and the customer experience. The firm targets three practice areas: executive search, leadership development, and career transition.

Protiviti Inc., Robert Half International Inc.’s consulting division, announced Adam Hamm joined its Chicago office as a managing director in its risk and compliance practice, serving clients within the financial services industry. Hamm previously was president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and chairman of the NAIC’s National Cybersecurity Task Force. Hamm served two four-year terms as the North Dakota Insurance Commissioner, and also on several federal committees including the US Financial Stability Oversight Committee; the Cybersecurity Forum for Independent and Executive Branch Regulators; and the Financial and Banking Infrastructure Committee.

Executive search firm Allegis Partners announced John Anderson joined the firm in San Francisco as a managing director in the human resources practice. He most recently was senior VP for hrQ, an executive search and professional services firm. Prior to hrQ, he held executive HR leadership roles including chief people officer at One Kings Lane and senior VP, human resources at Quidsi Inc.

Mestel & Company, a national attorney placement firm, appointed Stacey Rosenfeld, Esq. as executive director. She will specialize in the placement of partners, development of attorney groups, and facilitation of law firm mergers for the New York region.
