Lannick, a finance and accounting professional staffing firm serving the Greater Toronto Area, appointed William J. Grubbs as a member of its advisory board. Grubbs is president and CEO of Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN) and included among The Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the staffing industry.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Michael Mundy joined the firm as a senior client partner in its global consumer practice and will lead the Canadian consumer and retail practice. Mundy will be based out of Korn Ferry’s Toronto office. He most recently was a partner at another global executive search firm, where he targeted a range of industries — including consumer package goods, retail, distribution, and food services —throughout Canada and the US.

Day & Zimmermann, a provider of staffing services to the power industry, promoted Diana McConnell to VP of O&M Contractor Services. McConnell will be responsible for Open Shop craft recruiting, coordinating with technical and vocational schools and Day & Zimmermann's security services group. McConnell has been with the company for 17 years, most recently developing a craft recruiting and placement organization.

Global professional services firm Alder Koten, which provides executive search services, announced Richard Spitzer joined the team as a senior advisor and will collaborate in executive search work. He previously was global managing partner for Heidrick & Struggles International Inc.’s (NASD: HSII) automotive practice. 

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa made the following personnel announcements:

• Mark Yacano will lead its new managed legal services offering, which provides process analysis, customized action plans and implementation assistance. The team operates within the solutions practice group, from the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Yacano joined the MLA in October 2014 as the global practice leader to build the offering; he previously was executive VP at Hudson Legal.
• Leslie A. Goldman joined the firm as a managing director in its in-house practice group. Based in Houston, she will recruit general counsel, senior attorneys and compliance officers. Goldman most recently was VP and general counsel for Fisher HealthCare.
• Randi S. Lewis was hired as a director to launch and lead the firm’s Baltimore recruiting office. She will recruit and place partners and associates, and also help law firms with strategic practice acquisitions and planning. Lewis most recently was director of lateral recruitment and diversity at Miles & Stockbridge, a law firm in Maryland.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, announced Kyle Lehman will lead the new human resources branch within its Denver office. Lehman joining Lucas Group in 2012 and most recently served as branch practice manager.

Yacoub Elite Search, an executive search firm in Canada, added Kim Forgues as a member of the executive search team and as president of Yacoub Elite HR.  Forgues brings senior HR and global business expertise, as well as experience at the C-suite level in the aerospace, financial institutions, technology, manufacturing, and retail industries.
