People: Korn Ferry, Advanced Resources, AtWork, PrideStaff and more

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) elected Angel Martinez to serve on its board of directors. He was president and CEO of Deckers Outdoor Corp. from 2005 until his retirement in 2016 and currently is chairman of the company, a role he has held since 2008; he also serves on the board of Tupperware. The firm also announced Beatrice Grech-Cumbo joined Korn Ferry Hay Group as senior client partner in the Chicago office; she will lead the North American leadership development solution area and also be part of the North American Korn Ferry Hay Group leadership team. Miriam Nelson also joined Korn Ferry Hay Group as senior client partner, based in the New York office; she will serve as a core member in the firm’s chief executive officer optimization practice. Nelson most recently was a partner in Aon’s Hewitt’s talent and rewards practice.

Advanced Resources, a Chicago staffing agency, announced Mike Lonnay is division director for its new finance division in New York City. The division provides accounting and finance services in the New York metro area and joins Advanced Resources’ technology division.

AtWork Group, a national staffing franchise, announced Kelly Young will lead its new office in Las Vegas, which will be the franchise’s first location in Nevada and provide staffing solutions to businesses in the gaming, retail, convention, manufacturing, distribution and entertainment industries.

PrideStaff, a national staffing franchise, announced Brian Adkinson and Travis Ray opened a Milwaukee West office in New Berlin, Wis., on July 10.

The Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL.TO), a Toronto-based executive search firm with operations in Canada, the US and Europe, announced Matt Comyns, managing partner of Caldwell’s cyber security practice, will lead its new cyber advisory board service.

GPG Advisers announced Bernie Ocampo joined the company as a managing director and will lead the firm’s newly-established executive search platform. He most recently was principal of ELEOS Group, a boutique executive search and consulting firm focused on commercial real estate.  Ocampo will be based in Irvine, Calif.
