Online staffing firm Upwork Inc. (NASDAQ: UPWK) named Amanda Vinson as senior VP of corporate strategy and development. Vinson joins Upwork from Riverbed Technology, where she led corporate development and M&A for nine years.

ConnectRN, the provider of a staffing app for nurses, named Matthew Levesque as CEO. Levesque formerly served as a senior operating executive at athenahealth; prior to that, he held management roles at Priceline.com.

Michelle Lathan was promoted to VP of organizational effectiveness at Floyd Lee Locums, a locum tenens staffing provider headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. Lathan had previously served as director of operations.

Job.com named Steve O’Brien as president of staffing. O’Brien is the former VP of Monster.com’s Talent Fusion. Job.com matches employers and job seekers; it aims to give job seekers a signing reward equivalent to 5% of their annual salary when they are hired. O’Brien is set to begin at Job.com next month.

Professional employer organization Infiniti HR appointed Jeremy McNamara as senior VP of sales. McNamara will report to CEO Scott Smrkovski.

PrideStaff reported that Jeff Edwards is the owner of its new Fort Worth, Texas, office; Michael Wolf is the owner of its new Louisville, Kentucky, office; and Bryant Brewer is the owner of its new office in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Contemporary Staffing Solutions announced that Evan Violette was promoted to its executive team as managing director of its Professional Staffing Group business unit. In addition, Alyssa Mastrangelo was promoted to director of recruiting for Professional Staffing Group.

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa announced leadership for its new Denver office. Dudley Morton will lead the in-house counsel practice, John Boyd will lead the partner practice group and Maggie Tassi will lead interim legal talent.

Executive search firm WittKiefer named Jeff Compher as a principal in its education practice, where he will recruit directors of athletics, coaches and other college sports leaders. Compher formerly served as director of athletics at East Carolina University.
