People: Insperity, Mlegal, Hay Group, Lucas Group and more

Professional employer organization Insperity Inc. (NYSE: NSP) announced Michael Brown will retire from the company’s board at its 2017 annual meeting of stockholders on June 16. Brown joined the board shortly after Insperity’s initial public offering in 1997.

Mlegal, a national legal search firm, added four industry professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Carter Brown joins as chief business officer; his experience includes 11 years as CEO of Major, Lindsey & Africa, as well as tenures at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass, Law Finance Group, and Richardson. Suzanne Kane joins as managing director; she served for 16 years as a manager of attorney recruitment and development at Latham & Watkins and most recently was US legal recruitment director at Dentons. Natasha Innocenti joins as partner in San Francisco and Silicon Valley; she led the Northern California partner practice at Major, Lindsey and Africa for eight years before launching her own firm, Innocenti Partners. Karina Robles joins as human resources administrator and San Francisco office manager; she previously was senior administrator to the Northern California partner practice group at Major, Lindsey & Africa, and also held office management roles at several other Bay Area organizations.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Nathan Blain joined the firm as senior client partner and global leader for talent strategy and work design solutions for the Korn Ferry Hay Group division of the business. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s Washington, D.C. office. Blain joins Korn Ferry from Gartner (formerly CEB) where he founded and led the company’s professional services business.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, promoted Justin Martinez to managing partner. He will lead firm’s Chicago-based information technology practice. Martinez joined Lucas Group in January 2015 and set a new firm record as the fastest associate to earn a promotion to managing partner.

RSR Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based executive search and leadership consulting firm, appointed Talal Debs as a managing director and head of the firm’s risk practice. He will focus on recruiting senior executives and directors to navigate new risk, regulatory, and compliance issues for clients. His areas of concentration will include insurance, investment banking, trading, and asset management, among others. Prior to joining RSR Partners, Debs worked at J.P. Morgan for 15 years, most recently as an executive director in risk management.

Frank Recruitment Group, a UK-based niche recruitment firm for IT professionals who specialize in enterprise software, announced Executive VP Paul Briggs and VP Paden Simmons will head up its new office in Dallas. The office, which officially launches June 5, will initially recruit 100 people in the Dallas area, with a goal of rising to more than 300 employees in a few years.
