People: Gifted Healthcare, Floyd Lee Locums AtWork and more

Nurse staffing firm Gifted Healthcare named Tania Loumiet as director of clinical workforce solutions. Loumiet most recently served as director of emergency services at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, La., and has more than 25 years of experience in acute care. Gifted is based in New Orleans.  

Floyd Lee Locums, a physician staffing firm based in Charleston, S.C., announced a formal partnership with locums doctor and career coach, Stephanie Freeman, MD, as brand ambassador. In addition to career coaching for Floyd Lee Locums clinicians, Freeman will collaborate on the company’s marketing and referral programs. Floyd Lee Locums is an expansion of the locum tenens division formerly part of Trinity, which was acquired earlier this year by Travel Nurse across America.

AtWork Group, a national staffing franchise, announced Josee Minero opened a new La Palma, Calif., office that will provide a variety of staffing services to businesses in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Minero has more than three decades’ experience with an international staffing firm, leading branches in California, Washington and Oregon.

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa promoted two new partners within the firm: Amanda Brady, global practice leader of the law firm management practice, who splits her time between the New York and Houston offices; and Nesli Orhon, the national account delivery manager and head of professional development for the solutions practice group, who is based in Boston.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Stephanie Davis joined the firm as a senior client partner, North American private equity, technology leader. She most recently was a founding member of the business/technology services practice at a global recruiting firm and worked on CEO, president and board engagements across the technology spectrum. Davis will be based in Korn Ferry’s Los Angeles office.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates announced Charles “Charlie” Falcone joined the firm as the new leader of its US education practice, which includes specialty areas such as higher education, academic medicine and digital education. He is also a member of the firm’s healthcare services team. Falcone most recently was partner and managing director for the Chicago office of a global executive search firm and before that was the medical director of operating rooms and surgical services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a faculty member at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. He is based in Chicago.
