People: Fieldglass, WilsonHCG, MW Partners, PrideStaff and more

The founder and former CEO of VMS provider Fieldglass, Jai Shekhawat, joined the board of directors of FourKites, which builds software to modernize information sharing in logistics. Shekhawat was the 2012 recipient of Staffing Industry Analysts’ Peter Yessne Staffing Innovator Award for his pioneering work in the vendor management software space. Shekhawat founded Fieldglass in 1999 and stepped down as head of the firm in 2015.

Recruitment process outsourcing provider WilsonHCG added Jonathan Edwards to its leadership team as VP, executive search. He will be responsible for leading the organization’s global executive search efforts, talent development and process improvement. He joins WilsonHCG from Egon Zehnder and most recently technology and software company Red Hat, where he served as global executive search lead.

MW Partners, a professional staffing resources company headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., promoted Keith Lippert to senior director of sales operations from client relationship partner. Lippert joined MW partners in May 2016 and works with clients nationally to provide talent for permanent, contract and contract-to-hire roles.

PrideStaff, a national staffing franchise, announced Thomas Skeeter and Donald Graves opened a Fort Meade-Bowie office in Odenton, Md., on June 5.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) appointed Andrew LeSueur head of leadership consulting in the Americas. LeSueur, who joined the company in 2015, will continue to support his executive search clients and the industrial and supply chain practices as he transitions into his new role. Heidrick & Struggles also added William (Bill) O'Leary as partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office. In addition to helping lead external affairs executive search work, he will also be involved in CEO and board work within the education, nonprofit and social enterprise practice. 

Uber announced Harvard Business School professor Frances Frei is joining the human cloud firm as senior VP leadership and strategy, reporting to CEO Travis Kalanick. She will act as a partner to CHRO Liane Hornsey, and to the executive leadership team at large, in areas including: company strategy and planning; organizational transformation and design; management and leadership; coaching, supporting and developing a leadership team; and cultural philosophy.

Russell Tobin, a division of Pride Global, expanded into London, England, appointing Damian Byrne as director. He brings more than 15 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment for various global hedge funds and investment banks in the UK and Australia. New York-based Pride Global companies provide services including vendor management, payroll programs, business process optimization and staffing.
