People: DHR, Boyden, SDA and more

DHR International Inc., a Chicago-based executive search firm, added Jeanne Branthover and her New York team to the firm. Branthover joined executive search firm Boyden in 2003 and served as the practice head of global financial services and managing partner of Boyden New York. She also spearheaded its fintech subsector. Branthover previously ran her own New York-based executive search firm, Branthover Associates, for more than 20 years.

Meanwhile, Boyden named John Burr, partner at Boyden United Kingdom, as the new leader of Boyden’s global financial services practice. He specialized in both the traditional and fintech subsectors of financial services, with a background in capital markets and investment banking prior to his search career.

Steven Douglas Associates, a search and project-based professional services firm, announced Managing Director Matthew Beck transferred from its Florida headquarters to lead the firm’s new office in Baltimore. He will continue to lead SDA’s national sales, marketing and operations executive search practice and launch a local finance and accounting practice in Baltimore.

Quick Leonard Kieffer, an executive search firm based in Chicago, announced Scott Sammon joined the firm as partner. Sammon began his career in executive search at Quick Leonard Kieffer in 2000. He left the organization for five years, leading the healthcare practice at search firm Reilly Partners firm before returning. 

Executive search firm Matteson Partners hired Tom Shull as a new partner and practice area lead. Shull’s focus will include supply chain management, production/operations management and engineering positions within manufacturing and distribution organizations. Shull previously worked with organizations including Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse and KPMG.
