DHI Group Inc. (NYSE: DHX), which operates Dice and other job boards, hired Christian Dwyer as its new chief product officer. He will oversee product strategy, development and expansion for DHI’s three brands: Dice, ClearanceJobs and eFinancialCareers. Dwyer most recently was the executive VP of product management at HealthGrades; he previously was senior VP and general manager at AOL/MapQuest. Dwyer will join DHI’s executive team and report directly to CEO Art Zeile.

Communication platform TextUs announced Ericka Hyson joined its executive team as COO to lead new staffing industry initiatives. Hyson most recently was COO of IT staffing provider ettain group and has been recognized on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 100 - Women in Staffing.

JBK Associates International, a New Jersey-based executive search firm, hired Paul Stefunek as managing director. Stefunek most recently was VP of sales for PreTrax, a background and drug screen solutions provider; he previously was managing director at ZRG Partners LLC and partner at DHR International.

Waltham Mass.-based WinterWyman promoted Peter Mulligan to partner of the accounting, finance and administrative division. Mulligan joined WinterWyman in 2005 and was formerly a principal in the same division.

The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, the trade association for the PEO industry, elected Barron Guss, president and CEO of simplicityHR by ALTRES in Honolulu, as chair of the association’s board of directors at its Annual Conference in Phoenix. IT staffing provider MDI Group promoted Shokie Banerjee to the newly created role of executive director of fulfillment services to lead the company’s strategic initiatives. Banerjee joined MDI as a senior technical recruiter in 2003 and was promoted to managing director of the Greenville, SC, branch in 2009. Banerjee also manages the Charlotte, NC, branch, which opened in 2012.

Staffing provider Vaco announced Managing Director Beatriz Sonnendecker will lead its day-to-day operations at its new practice in Denver and Senior Partner Frances Moreno will manage the Denver firm. Vaco’s new Pittsburgh practice is being led by Managing Partner Phil McGivney, who previously held roles at KPMG, PwC and led an SAP Center of Excellence for a large chemical company. And a new Winston-Salem/Greensboro location is being led by Managing Partner Jeff Reynolds; he most recently was a director in PwC's risk assurance internal audit services practice in the Carolinas.
