People: Cross Country, Ducatus, Lucas Group

Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN) CFO William Burns returned to his full duties on Thursday, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Burns took a medical leave of absence on Oct. 12; Christopher Pizzi was appointed acting CFO during that time. Pizzi has resumed his full-time duties as Cross Country’s corporate controller. Cross Country, based in Boca Raton, Fla., ranks as the third-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US.

Ducatus Partners, an executive search firm for the global energy industry, added Jack Coker and Allister Graham to its Houston team as principals. Coker’s experience is in construction and infrastructure recruitment, and Graham’s background is in oil and gas executive search. Ducatus Partners, an independent arm of UK-based global workforce solutions company Airswift, is led by a core team of Kevin Davidson, Sean Buchan and Jamie Ferguson.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, created a new leadership team of contract practice managers to lead their branch’s respective contract recruiting teams, including:
