People: BGSF, Eliassen Group, Questpro, WilsonHCG, Diversified Search, WorkJam, TRU Staffing Partners

L. Allen Baker Jr. announced May 27 that he would retire from the board of directors of staffing firm BGSF Inc. (NYSE: BGSF) effective Aug. 4. BGSF also announced that Baker will be named to the role of chairman emeritus, a nonvoting advisory role, to the board effective Aug. 5. In addition to chairman, Baker had previously served as CEO and president at BGSF; he stepped down from the CEO and president roles in October 2018.

Staffing provider Eliassen Group appointed Sally Bauer as senior VP, cloud services; Michael Lane as senior VP, risk management and business optimization; and Robert Conder as regional VP, Southeast. Bauer previously was west market unit lead, cloud first design, at a global consulting firm. Lane has 30 years of experience and most recently was president and CEO of a private equity-led manufacturing and technology company. Conder is joining Eliassen Group after serving as VP of sales for a global staffing company.

Insurance recruitment firm Questpro named Johnny Park as president. Park had previously served as COO at the company. In addition, Questpro named Kathy Gilman O’Brien to president of its QTemps division, which provide temporary and temp-to-hire services. O’Brien previously was VP for QTemps. In addition, it named Debbie Hubbell as president of QExecs, its executive consulting practice; Taylor Jones as VP of sales; and Tandeka Nomvete as director of college recruiting for QGrads, the company’s college and recent graduate recruiting division. Hubbell previously served as VP of sales while Jones previously was business development director for the south region and Nomvete previously served as director of chapter engagement for Gamma Iota Sigma, a student association with a mission of promoting collegiate interest in the insurance industry.

WilsonHCG, a provider of RPO, executive search and contingent talent solutions, hired Steven Davis to head its talent consulting division. Davis has more than 25 years of experience and will be based in New York. Davis started his talent acquisition career in executive search before moving to Goldman Sachs where he led recruitment for seven of the company’s divisions.

Diversified Search Group named Steve Edwards as managing director of its nonprofit and connected leadership practices. Edwards previously was chief content officer at WBEZ Chicago Public Media. In addition, Diversified Search announced that Robin Goolsbee will serve as managing director in its corporate and life sciences practices; Goolsbee had served for the last eight years as senior principal with Business Talent Group. Also, the company named David Kuguru as managing director of the company’s corporate practice. Kuguru previously served as director of internet-of-things sales at T-Mobile/Sprint.

WorkJam appointed Daniel Crepeau as chief operating officer. Crepeau previously held leadership roles at Freshe Solutions, PSP Investments and CGI Group. Montreal-based WorkJam provides an app that handles work scheduling for shift workers as well as messaging and communication. It has a clock-in feature for workers and offers a payments platform that enables workers to receive a defined percentage of earnings on same day worked.

TRU Staffing Partners promoted Lauren Strait to manager of recruitment. Strait had previously served as a talent scout. TRU Staffing is a New York-based search firm focused on opportunities in the data privacy, e-discovery and cybersecurity areas.
