People: Ayers, Active, Phillips and more

KellyOCG announced John Henriksen joined The Ayers Group as strategic sales manager. New York-based The Ayers Group, a career management firm and division of Kelly Services Inc. (NASD: KELYA), provides human resources consulting services that include career transition and executive coaching services. Henriksen has 10 years of sales experience in the human capital industry in the tri-state area.

Active Staffing Services, a temporary staffing provider headquartered in New York, hired Robert Walsh as senior recruiter to lead its new luxury fashion and luxury goods department. Active Staffing serves companies in the industrial market, and in recent years expanded into construction and real estate placements.

Phillips Staffing, a staffing and human capital solution provider headquartered in Greenville, SC, named Brooke Ferguson as director of business development. Ferguson has 14 years of experience working in economic development, city and regional planning, and market research. she most recently was development manager for the Greenville Area Development Corp., the economic development arm of Greenville County, NC. 

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, hired Jimmy Dwertman as managing partner to lead its new Cincinnati manufacturing office. Dwertman, a graduate of the United States Army Ranger School in Fort Benning, Ga., began his recruiting career with Orion in 2015.

The Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL.TO), a Toronto-based executive search firm with operations in Canada, the US and Europe, added four new partners to its Latin American team. Adilson Parrella and Pedro Folque de Almeida joined the Sao Paulo office. Parrella most recently led the consumer and fast-moving consumer goods practices in Brazil and South America for one the largest global executive search firms, and also held P&L responsibility for the start-up operations in Brazil of a European executive search firm. Folque de Almeida has held leadership positions at some of the world’s largest executive search firms, in many cases holding full responsibility for the industrial and technology practices in the Iberian region, as well as driving business development and cross-border search execution. Eleonora Cajiao joined Caldwell’s Bogota office. She most recently was a senior client partner at Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY). And Estanislao Peña has opened the firm’s new office in Buenos Aires. Peña previously worked for Nextel, starting as a sales representative and eventually holding the role of CEO of Nextel Chile.
