People: Amerit, Staffing 360, Hudson, Diversant, RGP, Marcum, Nextaff, Capital Alliance and more

Amerit Consulting, a division of Evergent Group, appointed Ian Wagemann as president and CEO. He replaces founder and Chairman Gary Herbold, who retired after 16 years and will fully transition out of the role by the end of this year. Wagemann most recently was the founder and CEO of V.E.T. Solutions, an IT solutions firm. He served in the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman, with deployments to Afghaistan and Iraq.

Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (NASD: STAF), a staffing provider operating in the US and UK, hired Alicia Barker as its chief operating officer, effective July 1. Barker will report directly to Chairman and CEO Brendan Flood. Barker joined the company as an independent member of the board in April 2018, and will remain as a member of the board.

Hudson Global Inc. (NASD: HSON), a recruitment process outsourcing provider based in New York, reported in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing that David Kirby, senior VP, treasury and investor relations, will leave his position with the company effective July 27.

IT staffing provider Diversant added Andrew Reynolds as managing director for its Philadelphia office. Reynolds has several years of staffing experience and a background in small and midsize businesses as well as national MSP programs. 

Professional staffing provider Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN), which operates as Resources Global Professionals, appointed Marco von Maltzan to its board, effective July 7. Von Maltzan formerly was chairman of the supervisory board of taskforce-Management on Demand AG, a German company that Resources acquired in 2017.

Marcum Search LLC, the executive recruiting and temporary staffing affiliate of accounting and advisory firm Marcum LLP, announced Bruce Overton joined the firm as VP to lead its new division providing executive compensation services for businesses and nonprofit organizations. Overton has conducted assignments for businesses and not-for-profit organizations since 1989 and co-authored the Executive Compensation Answer Book.

Capital Alliance Corp., a middle-market investment bank based in Dallas, named Jim Mack as the first consultant in its new business services consultancy, which will initially focus on the human resource management industry. Mack has more than 20 years of senior management experience as a president, CFO and VP of operations with HR-related businesses, including AccessPoint, a regional PEO, staffing and charter school company; and Kelly Services.

Nextaff, the franchised staffing agency division of Malone Workforce Solutions, announced Mike and Tonya Stuber opened its first office in Dallas on July 9. The company will serve the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and provide staffing solutions to businesses in all industries. Mike Stuber has previous franchise experience and his wife Tonya, a Navy veteran, is currently a human resources director.

Boston-based Whitridge Associates Inc. announced Craig Zimiroski joined the firm as VP of staffing operations. Zimiroski has more than 25 years of experience in the technology staffing industry.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates announced Anthony Abbatiello joined the firm as global head of the leadership and succession business. Abbatiello previously was a partner at Deloitte and the global leader of Deloitte Leadership, its global leadership services business. 

RSR Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based executive search and leadership consulting firm, added Michael Fitzgerald as a managing director to bolster its asset management practice and launch the firm’s presence in Boston.

Cordia Resources, a Washington, DC, recruiting and consulting/staffing firm serving finance and accounting and human resources professionals, announced Vickie Roth joined the firm as a search director to launch its human resource recruiting and staffing practice.

Executive search firm Stanton Chase added Kathleen Lehman Hajek as a director of its Washington, DC, and Baltimore offices and a member of the healthcare and life sciences, private equity, professional services and nonprofit practice groups.
