Allegis Global Solutions appointed Matt Charney as chief content officer, a new role at the firm. Charney will serve as the chief editor and content lead for the organization on the AGS Global marketing team. Charney will also continue to serve as a partner and executive editor at RecruitingDaily LLC.

Human cloud, ride-sharing firm Uber Technologies Inc. is hiring Brooks Entwistle to lead the development of its Japan and Singapore business as chief business officer in the Asia Pacific, Bloomberg Technology reported. Entwistle retired from GoldmanSachs Group Inc. in 2012. He’s joining Uber from Everstone Group, a private equity and real estate firm.
