People: Alexander Mann Solutions, Uber, Build Staffing Group, TargetRecruit, Hibob

July 26, 2019

Alexander Mann Solutions reported this week it made several new hires over the past few months. David Swanz will lead Alexander Mann Solutions’ contingent workforce business development activity across the Americas. Swanz came to the company in November after working with Marcus Buckingham, a thought leader on talent. Alexander Mann also hired Susan Cooksey to lead its RPO business development activity across the Americas. Cooksey held a previous role at Alexander Mann but returned and took on her present job in May. Lastly, Mike Drolet was hired in April to lead the company’s direct sourcing offering for contingent workers as well as serve as head of the Americas Global Client Service Center. The hires follow the appointment back in September of Michael Wachholz as president of the firm’s Americas operations and head of contingent workforce solutions.

Uber Technologies Inc. (NYSE: UBER) reported in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission that Arianna Huffington and Matt Cohler have stepped down from its board of directors. The resignations were not the results of disagreements between the company and either Huffington or Cohler.

Build Staffing Group, a Southern California-based staffing firm, named Jason Rosser as director of recruiting.

Applicant tracking system software provider TargetRecruit promoted Alastair Murray to global director of customer success.

Employee engagement software firm Hibob appointed David Sussely as CFO. Sussely most recently served as VP of finance and acting CFO at digital adoption platform WalkMe.
