The Affiliated Staffing Group, also known as ASGroup, announced the election of its 2020-2021 board class that includes Janet Johnson, QTI Staffing and Scott Fiore, Tri-Starr Staffing. They join Rick Wagner, Employment Resources; Neil Stallard, The Reserves Network; and Roy Fazio, Protocall Group. ASGroup is a national staffing association of non-competing independently owned staffing companies. ASGroup’s mission is to share best practices amongst owners and managers.

QPS Employment Group, a Wisconsin-based staffing and recruitment firm, hired Laura Cole as executive VP of branch operations. Cole has 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, starting her career at Kelly Services in 2000. She has been with Staffmark since 2007 and most recently held the position of senior VP of field operations overseeing the East Business Unit. Cole replaces Steve Waller, who retired after 26 years with QPS.

Broadleaf Results Inc. hired Mike Brann as director of business development. Brann most recently served as senior director-global business solutions at KellyOCG. Brann specializes in managed service programs, recruitment process outsourcing, operational analysis and strategic planning. He has more than 15 years of experience in talent management.

TalentLaunch, a network of independently operated staffing and recruitment firms, named Scott Engel as senior VP of finance and administration. Engel previously served as CFO at Vertical Knowledge, an open-source data software co. TalentLaunch also appointed Derek Pittak as senior VP of corporate strategy and Kelly Workman as senior VP of field operations.

Executive search firm ZRG named Abe Doctor as managing partner and global head of its FinTech practice.

Floyd Lee Locums announced that its VP of organizational effectiveness, Michelle Lathan, was elected to the board of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.

David Conners is leading Beacon Hill Financial’s new office in Portland, Oregon, as division manager. Conners has more than a decade of experience in staffing and professional employee development.

The Adecco Group announced it is nominating Rachel Duan to its board of directors at its annual general meeting on April 16. Duan is currently senior VP of General Electric Co. and president and CEO of GE’s global markets. She is based in Shanghai, China.

TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) announced in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission that Stephen Robb is stepping down from its board as of close-of-business today.
