People: Adecco, TaleMed, Korn Ferry, Lucas Group and more

The Adecco Group, the world’s largest staffing firm, announced the International Labour Organization appointed CEO Alain Dehaze to its newly established Global Commission on the Future of Work. The 20-member commission — headed by ILO Director-General Guy Ryder and co-chaired by Stefan Löfven, prime minister of Sweden, and Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, president of Mauritius — will produce an independent report on how to achieve a future of work that provides meaningful and sustainable work opportunities for all.

TaleMed, a travel nursing company headquartered in Cincinnati, announced Susan Abbott, RN, joined its leadership team as the clinical director. Abbott brings nearly 20 years of nursing and nurse management experience and has worked in a variety of fields. She has also facilitated or participated in research initiatives, including in her most recent role at a research laboratory.

Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) announced Scott Leuchter joined the firm as a senior client partner. He will lead the firm’s industrial manufacturing advisory services in North America. Leuchter was previously principal-in-charge at the Hackett Group. Mario Pepe also joined the firm as senior client partner in the global technology practice and as managing director of the Reston, Va., office, where he will be based. And David Pitfield joined the firm as senior client partner in the consumer practice; he will be based in Korn Ferry’s Atlanta office.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, hired Danielle Edwards as marketing project manager to oversee its video marketing program. Her background includes advertising and creative development.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates announced Brad Pugh joined the firm as a consultant in the human resources officers practice. He is based in Atlanta and most recently served as managing director and group leader at World 50 Inc.

The Tolan Group, a member of executive search firm Sanford Rose Associates Network of Offices, announced behavioral healthcare executive Diana Ramsay joined the firm as practice partner to lead its behavioral health, human services, family services and substance abuse practice.

Oxford Marketing, a national experiential marketing and staffing agency based in Bohemia, NY, added Lori Marshall as its new VP of business development. She has 15 years of experience in the experiential marketing and staffing industry.
