People: AESC, AtWork, Korn Ferry

The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants appointed independent director Stefan Spang of McKinsey & Company to AESC’s global board of directors. He is the first independent director appointed to the AESC board in the association’s 58-year history. Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Spang joined McKinsey in 1992 and has served clients in the Germany, London, Switzerland, and New York offices. He has been the managing partner of McKinsey’s global business technology office from 2007 to 2014 and is also a core leader of McKinsey’s global banking practice. Since 2004, he is a member of the board of MIO Partners, McKinsey’s investment firm.

AtWork Group, a national staffing franchise, announced Giri Mudili will open a new office in Bothell, Wash. Scheduled to open in August, the office will provide a variety of staffing services to businesses in King and Snohomish Counties. Additionally, Rodrigo Javier Solis opened an office in San Antonio, his second AtWork location in Texas, providing a variety of staffing services to businesses in and around the San Antonio area.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Scott Rodin joined the firm as senior client partner, based in the New York office; he previously was senior VP of total rewards for First Data Corp., where he led the company’s HR programs related to their 2015 IPO. Rajiv Krishnan also joined the firm as country managing director for Korn Ferry Hay Group in India. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Krishnan was the national leader and partner for the people advisory practice at a global professional services firm.
