The Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services announced its national board of directors for the 2019-2020 year. Chris Roach will assume the presidency of the organization. Roach previously served as national president in 2007-2008; he is principal, engineering and technical, Greater Toronto Area, for the David Aplin Group. Ted Maksimowski will serve as vice president; Maksimowski is a franchise owner at Express Employment Professionals. Immediate past president is Michel Blaquière of Drakkar in Montreal. Treasurer and Secretary is Doug Hamlyn of Adecco Employment Services in Toronto, and Rita Sposato of Randstad Canada in Montreal, will serve as executive at large. Aleron Inc. promoted Frank Gullo to chief technology officer. Gullo has been with the Buffalo-based staffing provider for more than 20 years. While at Aleron, he spent 10 years as an onsite project manager at Moog, a designer and manufacturer of motion and fluid control and control systems.

Mondo, an Addison Group Company, promoted Stephanie Wernick-Barker to president. Wernick-Barker had previously served as chief revenue officer at the New York-based company that specializes in tech and digital marketing talent. She replaces Tim Johnson, who is no longer with the company. Wernick-Barker has been with Mondo for more than six years.

Hayes Locums named Ryan Scharer to the newly created position of chief operating officer. Scharer had previously served as VP of sales at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based healthcare staffing firm. He will serve as strategic partner to President and CEO John Hayes.

Global staffing provider Hays plc reported Non-Executive Director M.T. Rainey was appointed to the board of Clear Channel Holdings Inc.

Steve Ingham, CEO of UK-based staffing firm PageGroup plc, resigned from the board of Debenhams plc effective April 9.

Recruiting in Motion, a Canada-based staffing provider, is partnering with staffing executive Mimi Cox to open its first US location in Atlanta.
