Paycor, a Cincinnati-based human capital management software firm, acquired Verb, an Austin, Texas-based company that provides a microlearning platform to train managers and frontline teams in soft skills.

Paycor plans to fully integrate Verb into its HCM platform and accelerate the development of its new product, Paycor Paths, by the second half of this year.

The deal to buy Verb follows the acquisition by Paycor last October of recruitment platform Talenya.
