‘Pathways’ emerging in gig economy’s pay and benefit problems — Staffing quote of the week

The pay and benefits problems faced by workers in the gig economy are slowly starting to shrink, according to experts at a gig economy workshop held by The Aspen Institute in Washington, DC last week. “I do see some pathways,” Maureen Conway, The Aspen Institute’s VP for policy programs and executive director of its economic opportunities program, told Forbes contributor Richard Eisenberg in an interview after the event. “There are some people showing it can be done.”
