PageGroup gross profit up 49% for full-year 2021

PageGroup, a UK-based staffing firm with global operations, reported gross profit rose 49.1% in constant currency in full-year 2021.

Revenue jumped by 30.2% in constant currency.

"I am pleased to report that 2021 was a record year for the group for both gross profit and operating profit,” said CEO Steve Ingham. “We prioritized the protection and well-being of our employees, candidates and clients through the pandemic, whilst making clear decisions regarding strategic investments in our platform to take market share in the recovery. This is reflected in our record results.”

Ingham noted strong quarterly improvement through the year, with the group returning to growth versus 2019 in the second quarter of 2021 onward, delivering growth in constant currencies of 2%, 13% and 24% for quarters two, three and four, respectively.
