Montreal-based Optimum Talent acquired Vézina Nadeau Labre (VNL), a Montreal-based firm providing organizational development, coaching and career transition services.

The transaction closed May 31; terms were not disclosed. VNL executives will remain with a couple of title adjustments.

Optimum Talent provides executive search and recruitment; leadership, assessment and development; and career transition and outplacement services. It counts more than 260 employees and operates 13 offices throughout Canada. Internationally, the firm has a strategic partnership with Career Star Group to deliver coaching, career transition and change management solutions.

Both firms target all segments. VNL has one office in Montreal; however, it provided services nationally through a network of partners.
