Ontario politicians’ proposed requirement for perm hiring of temps after 90 days not likely to survive (The Star)

Some members of Canada’s New Democrats political party said they will aim for new rules in Ontario that would require temporary workers to become “permanent employees” after 90 days on the job and put a 20% cap on the percentage of workers at a company that can be temporary, The Star newspaper reported. However, the newspaper noted the proposals will likely be defeated.
