Online job ads decrease in June: The Conference Board

US online job ads fell in June by 171,600 to approximately 4.5 million, according to The Conference Board’s report on online job ads. Losses over the month were widespread geographically and occurred in all occupations.

The June decrease follows declines in May and April as well.

All of the largest 10 online occupational categories posted decreases in June. Ads for transportation and material-moving jobs logged the largest decrease, down by 29,200 to a total of 325,500. Healthcare practitioners and technical ads followed, down by 26,800 ads to 497,300.

Education, training, and library ads had the smallest loss, down by 1,900 to 166,300, followed by Installation, maintenance, and repair ads, which decreased by 6,000 to 184,100 ads.
